Doc's on the Red Carpet with The Graeme Francis Jazz Orchestra Ft. ASHLYRÉ
Fri, Nov 20
Doc's sits inside Montrose's Tower Theatre, a movie palace since 1936, so a night of movie music suits the walls. The Graeme Francis Orchestra plays film and TV themes from across the decades, including the "James Bond Theme," "Theme from The Pink Panther," the "Naked Gun Theme," and "Gonna Fly Now" from Rocky. It also plays the love songs, like "As Time Goes By" and "It Had to Be You." ASHLYRÉ, a Jamaica-born, Connecticut-raised Berklee alumna, sings jazz, R&B, and soul, and Graeme Francis, the club's artistic director, keeps time on drums. Black tie is encouraged on every date, so bring the velvet, the silk, the tuxedo, or the gown. Walk the red carpet, order a drink, and settle in.
