World Class Entertainer, Singer, Tap Dancer, Producer, and Grammy Nominated Songwriter AC Lincoln is a modern day “Song and Dance Man.” A Native New Yorker, AC Lincoln formerly shared the stage with tap dance greats (“The Hoofers”) including Jimmy Slyde, Buster Brown, Chuck Green and Savion Glover. AC continues to share the family stage which includes his parents: Marion Cowings and Kim Kalesti, and sister, widely acclaimed singer and songwriter, Emily King.
In addition to writing, producing and arranging his own music, Lincoln has production credit on King’s The Switch “Already There” and writing credit on Grammy Nominated album Special Occasion for single “Medal.” AC Lincoln has entertained audiences across the globe performing with his all-star Jazz band as well as with celebrated artists Nate Smith, The Hot Sardines, Mercedes Ellington, Brian Newman and Winard Harper.
AC is currently headlining premier clubs and venues throughout NYC including: The Jazz Club at Aman, The Django, Fasano Baretto, The Ned, Red Rooster, and Paris Cafe.
Our kitchen and bar will be open, serving up chef-crafted dishes and handcrafted cocktails to make your night complete. Come hungry, the food’s as good as the music!
About Doc's Houston
Doc's is Houston's premier supper club and live music venue, set inside Montrose's historic Tower Theatre and is a 1936 movie palace whose stage has hosted legends from Ella Fitzgerald to Leon Russell. Opened in 2025 by bandleader and pianist Doc Watkins, the club brings the golden era of the supper club back to Westheimer. Live music runs Tuesday through Saturday, from Doc Watkins and his orchestra to world-class touring artists. Every show in the showroom is an intimate, ticketed concert with reserved seating and attentive table service from the first note to the last. Come early for chef Jose Avila's classic supper club fare: steaks, seafood, and pastas with handcrafted cocktails and wine to match.
