Essential Ella: A Tribute to the First Lady of Song

Ella Fitzgerald could scat her way through "How High the Moon" like she was making it up on the spot, and most nights she was. She won 13 Grammy Awards over her career and never lost the joy in her voice. In 1980 she sang on this same stage, back when the room was still called the Tower Theatre. Nicoya Baker and the Graeme Francis Trio bring her songbook back to it.
