Meet the band. Wesly Walker plays sax. Edwin Brown plays piano. Ric Lominy plays bass. Keandre McClendon plays drums. Roberto Rodriguez plays guitar. They started in Houston in 2018. They do not stick to one style. A set can move from a gospel song to a funk beat to a jazz tune, all in one night. They write new songs and also play covers of the artists who shaped their sound. Five players, one band, and a set list that never sits still.

About Doc's Houston

Doc's is Houston's premier supper club and live music venue, set inside Montrose's historic Tower Theatre and is a 1936 movie palace whose stage has hosted legends from Ella Fitzgerald to Leon Russell. Opened in 2025 by bandleader and pianist Doc Watkins, the club brings the golden era of the supper club back to Westheimer. Live music runs Tuesday through Saturday, from Doc Watkins and his orchestra to world-class touring artists. Every show in the showroom is an intimate, ticketed concert with reserved seating and attentive table service from the first note to the last.
