After joining his father’s band at age 21, C.J. went on to lead the famed Red Hot Louisiana Band following Clifton’s passing, launching a celebrated international career. He has performed and recorded with artists including Paul Simon, Ringo Starr, John Mayall, Jimmie Vaughan, Sonny Landreth, Joe Sample, and Buckwheat Zydeco, and has appeared at major festivals worldwide, including the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.
