The Copa Kings - Swing, Jazz, R&B, and New Orleans Heat!

Four horns, two singers and a rhythm section take one set from Rat Pack swing to a New Orleans second line. The Copa Kings have played together in Austin for fifteen years. A single night can cover Bobby Darin, Harry Connick Jr., Fats Domino and Louis Armstrong.

Billy Murphy fronts the band with the phrasing of Sinatra and the grit of Louis Armstrong. Barbara White joins him and leans into the blues when the set turns to R&B. The band has opened for Asleep at the Wheel at Gruene Hall.

Our kitchen and bar will be open. Come hungry, the food's as good as the music!
