The Golden Age of Swing with Bryan Anthony

For one night, Houston hears the swing era again. Think of the trombones of Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey. The clarinets of Benny Goodman and Artie Shaw. The big sound of Duke Ellington and Lionel Hampton.

Bryan Anthony sings the songs. He toured with the Glenn Miller Orchestra and the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. Former Dorsey bandmate Joe Jenkins joins him on clarinet, backed by a full band. The set runs from "Moonlight Serenade" to "Sing, Sing, Sing." The night ends with Dorsey's own sign-off song, "I'm Getting Sentimental Over You."
